LACASA Youth Programs

LACASA, a project of Strycker’s Bay Neighborhood Council, provides a safe and nurturing environment for youth ages 5-21 through its Afterschool Program and Summer Immersion Program. Established since 1993, LACASA enables caring and passionate staff to stimulate personal and academic growth in every child, so that they are equipped with the tools and resources to become responsible and productive adults. LACASA embraces families of all backgrounds, ethnicities, and cultures and invites them into the LACASA family—a homefor young people, participants and staff alike, to engage in education, life skills lessons and cross-cultural learning.

LACASA currently partners with PS84 Lillian Weber School & The West Side Commons (De Hostos Community Center.)
